Arkansas

Arkansas’ greenhouse gas emissions increased by 109% between 1990 and 2021, largely due to the state’s forest land shrinking by more than one third. The electricity sector is the state’s top emitter, with natural gas and coal-fired generation accounting for more than two-thirds of Arkansas’ energy supply.
